Innocent Thief

After admiring two pieces of jewelry, and paying too much for the one I selected, how do you prove your innocence when the vendor calls to say the jewelry I didn't buy is now missing. FML.

Welcome to the snarky stylings of Some Balls...No Chains!

Alyssa and Christy met back in May 2008 while celebrating a mutual friends birthday. We bonded over beers and some discussion about the relationships we were either in at the time (Alyssa) or just getting over (Christy). Years later, still single and into our thirties, we decided to share our experiences with the rest of the world. So here she be. A blog about....nothing, really. We talk about some interesting dating situations, the pet peeves we have as single ladies and our general annoyance for people. Love it or hate it....it's just us.

The name of our blog stems from a road trip the two of us took in April 2010. We were on the way to Madison, Wisconsin from the Twin Cities to see one Har Mar Superstar (who, incidentally was playing in Minneapolis the very next night...). We literally decided to make this drive hours before hopping into the car and taking off. This led to the realization that, because we are without balls and/or chains, we can do such things at the drop of a hat without having to answer to anyone. So, while we are not completely without balls (you can assume what you will about the "some"), we are without the proverbial ball and chain(s). And there you have it.
